Would human hair make for a better paint brush?

Okay, so, I'm writing this story and, in it, there's this artist. Pretty much the artist kidnaps women for their hair so he can make soulful paint brushes from their hair--but is that really possible? I'm not going to start writing this story until I know, and I'm really excited to start, but I have to do all this research, first. So yeah, anyone know if making a human hair paint brushes would really work in this case?Would human hair make for a better paint brush?

Look people,just because ideas are similar doesn't mean ';omg they liked that movie so much they wanted to copy it';. Similar artists with similar backgrounds, interests, locations, etc. will come up with similar ideas, most of the time having no knowledge of the idea that got published first.

This is in reference to the answer comparing this to the Red Violin.I mean c'mon, the ideas aren't even the same.Similar, but not the same.This is just like most critics who have everything matter-of-factly to say about someone's art,but have never painted a damn thing in their lives.

Truly original ideas in this day and age are a rare blessing.Of course, we always try to strive for originality, but in the end, you must do what inspires you.If all creative work was created to please left-brained critics, all art would be sh*t.

Okay so you really liked the movie the Red Violin ? Where the violin maker used his lovers hair to make a paintbrush after she died. He also uses her blood to make the glaze he uses to paint the violin.





so be careful, yes it's possible. yes, it has already been done. Also sounds a lot like the movie Perfume.
You actually can make paintbrushes out of human hair. I was watching Lockup (a documentary type show that shows inmates in various prisons) and one of the inmates uses pen ink, toothpaste, and his own hair for brushes and paints these huge murals on the walls.
i can not say specifically. it will be better if you discuss with some good brush store or some great artist. some peiple just to creat ratrity in the work do so or say so.otherwise very good brushes are available in good stores
It sounds plausible to me. I guess you could鈥擶hy not? Write your story as if it is so.
