Is it safe to reuse my foundation brush if paint got on it (after washing of course)?

My 4 year old sister took my expensive mac foundation brush to paint a picture, and I don't have the money to buy a new one because i'm not old enough to have a job. If I clean it properly, could I reuse it?

Of course you can if all the paint is out. You should be washing your foundation brush regularly anyway so if all the paint is out and all traces of detergent are gone then no problem at all.Is it safe to reuse my foundation brush if paint got on it (after washing of course)?
I have one from Prescriptives, the lady at the counter said that you should wash it with baby shampoo if it gets dirty...try that!
