To all the artist who express themselves with paint, brush, and a canvas...?

what would you paint to give as a gift to the man or woman you love?To all the artist who express themselves with paint, brush, and a canvas...?
Buy a set of body paints, it is a mood setting medium.To all the artist who express themselves with paint, brush, and a canvas...?
I'm about to paint a picture of a certain quarry.

(My husband is a mineral collector. :D)
a self portrait, a portrait of the two of you or something that will remind them of you. Or else you make a picture of something you know they'll like.
If you mean this on a personal level then I can answer that. I am still working on a painting for her, which is a field of bluebonnets and Indian paintbrush that backs up to a waterfall that divides the field to the right with a narrow creek. There isn't any sky to this painting since she didn't ask for it, and there is a tree off to the left, mid-way up that I started. I am thinking of taking it out by covering it up to match what is surrounding it.
I would do an abstract of circles because it is circles, like a ring, that depicts never ending love.

This is a thoughtful gift!

Best wishes
That would depend on the person and the kind of love.

I love my mom and I painted her mother. Very big success both artistically as as a gift.

My wife got and 'old' painting from my time in art school. It means more to her than I have ever had the opportunity to put in.

Years ago my Then little brother got this flaming painting of a bunch of fighting ninjas.
my former art teacher once painted a rose for his wife and said, ';i wanted to give you a flower, but i knew it would wilt. so i painted one.';
