When painting a room,is it best to start with the corners and edges first with a small paint brush?

Have never painted before, but it looks easy. When painting a room,is it best to start with the corners and edges first with a small paint brush?
I always ';cut the paint'; in 1 st. This means to paint w/ a good brush the corners , wall to ceiling and around door and windows. I do 1 wall at a time and then wrap brush in saran wrap and roll the wall and then go to another wall . I use a 2 or 3 inch brush for this. Take your time and only paint what you can finish, never stop and leave until the next day GLWhen painting a room,is it best to start with the corners and edges first with a small paint brush?
I always edge out a wall before painting it,but it's not as easy as it looks. Home Depot sells a wonderful tool for edging for about $3. It is a small square pad on wheels that allows you to roll the paint right against the corner in a straight line...best invention in the world. Be careful not to use too much paint on it or it will drip.

Here it is:

Edges and corners are the hardest for me, so I usually start rolling first and get as close as I can to the corners and edges. That way I end up with less area to do in those spots. If I do the corners and edges first I usually end up painting several inches further out than I need to.
