What paint brush can I use in photoshop to make a blur effect?

Hi I'm going to upload some photos to bebo of my car but I want to blur the number plate out then what brush should I use in Photoshop elements? What paint brush can I use in photoshop to make a blur effect?
you don't need a brush, select the number plate and then click filter %26gt;%26gt; blur %26gt;%26gt; gausian blurWhat paint brush can I use in photoshop to make a blur effect?
Actually what you want to use is the Gaussian Blur. You can go to Filter%26gt;Blur%26gt;Gaussian Blur. Before you do this, select the area you want to blur (since you don't have to be really precise with this, just use the Lasso tool to select around the license plate number). Then go to the Filter menu as stated above and apply the Gaussian blur to it. In fact, you could probably use just a plain blur, since all you are trying to do is basic blur to make the number unreadable.

Once you've got it blurred out the way you want just hit Command + D (or ctrl + D on the PC) to deselect the area you blurred and you are done.
Dont use a paint brush.

Select the region that you want to blur and copy it in to a new layer then apply a blur filter. You have plenty to choose from depending on the effect you're looking for, and can just lose the layer if it looks wrong.
